One of Star Plus' longest running shows, Diya Aur Baati Hum will bid adieu to its viewers on 11th September, 2016 after a successful run of 5 years. With only a few days left for the finale episode, the viewers must be really emotional to bid farewell to the show.

With this, the ideal bahu Sandhya's (Deepika Singh) character will come to an end. Sandhya's character, is celebrated in many ways. She is the epitome of courage and the show emphasises feminism, by showcasing Sandhya as a strong woman, who chases her dreams of becoming an IPS officer.

Pooja Singh Aka Emily's Message

Pooja Singh, who plays the role of Emily shared the above picture and wrote, "Gonna miss my dabh family..words r not enough at this moment...want to thank everyone.. thank u thank u thank u."

One Last Time

Neelu Vaghela is absolutely loved by the audiences as the strict matriarch Bhabho. She shared an image of them enjoying the lunch on the last day of shoot. She wrote, "Had lunch together on the set for the last time."

Team DABH Receives Gifts From Fans

Team 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' couldn't be more happier. Recently, the lead actors received cute gifts from their fans. The fans showered love on their favourite actors by gifting them T-shirts which had their caricatures.

The character 'Sandhya', is indeed an inspiration for many women out there. True to its name, the show has survived all the odds and has entertained its loyal viewers with its wholesome content all these years.

As per the reports, the show will end on a sad note with the fateful death of Sooraj and Sandhya, while trying to save the residents of the Hanuman Gali from the clutches of the terrorists.

As of now, Sandhya and Sooraj are joined by the police force and together they have planned big to rescue the innocent people. But, Bhabho is worried for the couple as she had earlier dreamt of their death and warns them to be careful!

Now, the question is, how will Sandhya and Sooraj rescue the innocent people? As the show is inching towards the climax, we are becoming curious. Will Bhabho's bad dream turn into reality? We hope not.
