Thapki Pyaar Ki Actor Vishal Thakkar Goes Missing; Investigations In Progress!

Vishal Thakkar, who played the role of Paan (Bihaan's best friend), in Colors' show Thapki Pyaar Ki, has gone missing since 1st January. It has to be recalled that the actor was accused of rape. He was also arrested in October, 2015.

According to the reports, Vishal was frustrated as his name was seen in the search engines alongside the word 'rape'! It was his girlfriend who had accused him of rape, but later the couple sorted out the issue and the complaint was withdrawn. But, the incident left a bad mark, and was not getting any offers.

Vishal's mother was quoted by Daily Bhaskar as saying, "Vishal was very depressed after the molestation charges imposed on him. Till 31st December evening, he was with me and then at late night, he left for the movie. He has not come back since that night. It's been almost 11 days now; I am not being able to get in touch with him. After the molestation news, my son was jobless and that added more to his depression."

According to the police, Vishal went missing on January 1 morning while taking a tea break in Fountain Hotel at Ghodbunder Road.

The investigating officer, Jayvant Padvi was quoted by The Asian Age as saying, "While having tea at Fountain, Vishal told Rajani he had to meet a friend in Andheri and left. Thereafter, Rajani tried looking for him but in vain. His phone too is switched off ever since. Nobody knows about his whereabouts".

He further added, "During the investigation, Rajani told us that he has been suffering from depression of late because he hasn't been getting work. His frustrations had strained the couple's relationship and they would quarrel frequently. We are looking into all aspects. We haven't reached any conclusion so far. Investigations are still on."

The actor was also seen in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Crime Patrol, Geet Hui Sabse Parayi, Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil and Veer Shivaji.
