Recently, we had reported about the confirmed news that Rohan Mehra will be replaced on the show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Rohan, who played the role of Naksh, is currently seen as one of the strong contestants in the Bigg Boss 10 house.

Rishi, who will be joining the team, was quoted by the IANS as saying, "Being a part of the show that is an out and out audience favourite, feels amazing. 'Yeh Rishta...' as a show, is a brand in itself. I am really excited about entering the show."
Rishi As Naksh
"Naksh, as a character, is extremely popular amongst the audiences and I really wish to do justice to the character and live up to the audience expectations. I am really looking forward to playing Naksh," he further added.
Naksh
The character of Naksh was shown to have gone on a trek. But, he will be seen returning to his house. The house members try to contact him, when they learn about Akshara's death, but in vain. It has to be seen how he would react to his mother's death!
Show Might Take A Leap!
Apparently, the show will take a six months leap. Post leap, the entire family will be seen gearing up for Naira (Shivangi Joshi) and Kartik's (Mohsin Khan) engagement ceremony.
Kartik's Step-Mom
There are also reports that the show might witness another new entry in the form of Kartik's mother. If reports are to be believed, there will be a twist in the story, as Kartik's mother will be alive and deceased.
Nupur Joshi
We are aware that Suwarna (Parul Chauhan) is playing Kartik's step-mother. According to reports, Nupur Joshi might enter the show as Kartik's real mother. Nupur was quoted by an entertainment website as saying, ""I have been approached for the show but nothing has been confirmed as of now."
We had reported that Rohan decided to take a big step of quitting the show YRKKH for Bigg Boss 10. He felt that the reality show is the bigger platform than YRKKH.
The makers initially thought of waiting for Rohan, but later decide to replace. According to reports from a leading daily, the makers were busy chalking out Hina Khan's exit. Now, the track will start focussing on Naksh once again, so they have decided to rope in another actor.
The source was quoted by the leading daily as saying, "We aren't keen on having Rohan back since he exited our show in an unprofessional manner. He left us in the lurch by deciding to participate in the reality show overnight."
Currently, the show is focussing on Naira and Kartik's love track. Apparently, Naksh will re-enter the show after six months, during his sister Naira, and Kartik's engagement ceremony.
