The popular actress from the show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, has quit the show. As we revealed earlier, a few fans have already accepted the fact, while a few other crazy fans do not want Hina to leave the show.
In an interview to an entertainment portal, Hina spoke about how her fans reacted to her exit. Read on....
Fans Feedback Over Her Exit
Hina Was quoted by the entertainment portal as saying, "Some of them have threatened to kill themselves. One of them even sent me a video with this threat. In fact, I'm planning to post a video on Facebook requesting them not to any such stupid thing. It's scary (pauses)."
Crazy Fans Threaten To Kill Themselves
"Naa chahte hue bhi you tend to think that you're responsible for all this, jabki actually aa nahin hai. I know that I have an 8-year association with them as I have been the longest running lead actress, but surely nobody should kill him/herself."
Fans Do Not Want Hina To Leave The Show
She even said that when she went to Jodhpur, people went crazy seeing her. All of them just didn't want her to move on.
On being named (Akshara) among famous household names (Tulsi, Parvati, Prerna, Sujal, Kashish)…
"Yeah, but recently I went to a party and let me tell you that all the people there were okay with the fact that I was quiiting the show. Everyone's like, haan haan accha kiya chhod diya, abhi 8 saal ho gaye, kitna karogi, kuch naya karo, you're a good actor."
She Added…
"You know how people say a lot of things and no one understands the kind of association my fans have with me. You need to go through a long phase like me."
Hina Says…
"I broke Tulsi's record of being the lead on a show for the longest time- and none of the actors in the current scenario on TV, have reached the stage where I have. So, you see, fame comes with its fair share of issues."
Hina Khan says that she had quit the show as her health took a toll. She was suggested by the makers to go on a sabbatical and then come back, but Hina says that it has become monotonous for her. She feels that the show had shown her in every character and shade, Akshara's journey was over.
It has to be recalled that there are many speculations doing the rounds on Hina's tantrums on the sets. It was even said that the actress was insecure as the show shifted its focus on the youngster. There were even rumours that Hina altered the dialogues!
But the actress clarified that she didn't quit the show as the focus shifted on her (Akshara) daughter. If there was any truth to these rumours, then she would have quit long back. She also added that more than money, it's the work satisfaction that comes first for her. She had stopped getting work satisfaction from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which is why she quit.
The actress does not want to go back to the show and want to try something different and new. She added that she is open to comedy, all the genres.
