Love is in the air in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The makers are focussing on Naira (Shivangi Joshi) and Kartik's love. Well, you must be wondering what will happen to Gayatri. The makers of the show are also ready with another new track, as Gayu's childhood friend will soon enter the show!

Kartik works with Naira's father and stays at the Maheshwari house. He has always been helpful for both the Maheshwari as well as Singhania family, and they treat him as their son. In the upcoming episodes, Singhania family is all set to celebrate the Teej festival. The ladies of the house observe fast for their husbands.

Gayu Upset

The family members are busy celebrating Teej, while Kartik too, get involved. Kartik and Naira gets closer during the festival, while Gayu gets upset, seeing them closer.

Kartik observes fast for Naira and the family members are unaware of it. The family members break the fast, while Kartik too, and eats the sweets to break the fast.

Kartik Gives Naira A Peck On The Cheek

Naira and Kartik feed each other sweets. Kartik gives Naira a peck on the cheek and she is shocked! She sits with Kartik and makes him eat the food.

Naira Makes Kartik Eat Chillis

Naira makes Kartik eat chillis, in typical Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam style! Kartik is unaware of it at first, but later he himself, eats the chillis. Seeing him eating the chillis, Naira too, starts eating chillis!

Kartik Stops Naira

Kartik stops Naira and makes her eat sugar and vice-versa. Well, this will be a dream sequence of the couple. Apparently, Kartik decides to propose Naira, after Naitik is back.

Gayu

Well, you must be wondering, what will happen to Gayu. The makers also have a track ready for Gayatri. Apparently, Gayu's childhood friend will be entering the show soon.

Gayu's New Love!

Rafi Malik will be seen playing the role of an army officer. He falls in love with Gayu and the families will soon think about getting them married!

Interestingly, Kartik too, observe fast for Naira! The audiences will witness Naira and Kartik's Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam moment, as Naira will make Kartik eat chillies! Well, this will be a dream sequence.

During the festival, both Naira and Kartik will be seen getting closer. Seeing both closer, Gayu feels insecure!

This is not the first time that Kartik is dreaming of Naira. It has to be recalled that during Naira's dance competition, Kartik had helped Naira in the photoshoot. He dreams of getting closer to her and making her pose for the photographs!

Naira gets to know that Kartik helped Gayu as well as Naira in their competitions. He had delayed Naira's function, so that Akshara could attend the function! Naira thanks Kartik; and it is then he tries to express his love for her by saying 'I love you' to her, but changes the topic by saying he loves her family!

He decides to express his love for Naira after Naitik's return!
