The Star Plus' show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai doesn't fail to impress the family audiences. The prime target of the show has always been family audiences, and the story too, focuses on how the lead actors manage to face the day-to-day problems.

Currently, the show showcases on Varsha and Akshara's (Hina Khan) children's marriages. Varsha wants her daughter Ananya to get married soon, while Akshara wants her son Naksh (Rohan Mehra) to forgive Tara, and get married to her.

Naksh breaks up with Tara as he gets to know his mother Akshara lost her eyesight because of her brother Sangram. He was angry that even though Tara knew about this, she had not revealed to him (as Akshara had asked her not to tell to Naksh, which Naksh isn't aware of).

Akshara makes Naksh realise how much he loves Tara, by doing a drama with Tara and her family. Akshara and Naitik decide to take Naksh to meet a girl, while Naksh runs to Tara.
Also, Tara's family asks him to leave the place, as she was getting married to a boy that her family chose for her.

Naksh will be surprised to see Akshara and Naitik at Tara's place and Dadaji introducing them from boy's side! Naksh realises his mistake. Akshara asks him not to get angry unnecessarily, and to deal with the situation with patience.

On the other hand, Varsha sends an old picture of Ananya to the groom's family, in which she looked slim! Although the groom's family gets upset with this, they accept the proposal, and ask them to get ready for the marriage.
