1. Success Goes To Their Head
Most of the contestants do not make use of the success that they gain from the Bigg Boss house. They feel this is it, they have got famous now! Many of them wait for the opportunity to come to their doorstep.

2. Controversies
Many celebrities inside the house get into controversies. They argue and get involved with unnecessary fights, which do not go well with the audiences, as a result, they lose fans.

This season's Priyanka Jagga and Om Swami are best examples for this, they thought even bad publicity is‘publicity'. They got into controversies. As a result, they gained more haters. After being evicted from the house, they gave interview against the show as well as makers. Because of this, many reputed channels haven't approached them for the interview.
3. Do Not Take Full Support Of Media & Social Media
The media as well as social networking sites play a major role in making a person, a star! Post their participation, the number of fans on the social media increase. So, they have to maintain that by interacting with their fans. Also, the way they deal with media is also important. If they are friendly, they will be approached by more channels. Hence, they get popular and can stay in news!
4. Audiences Hate Fake Actors
The contestants who act in the reality show are not welcomed by the viewers. If they get to know that the actor is acting or faking themselves just to be in limelight or for shows' TRPs, they start hating them and automatically ‘unfollow' them!

Most of the contestants do not identify what's good in them. After doing one reality show, they feel that they are good only in doing reality shows and opt for the same.

Dale was quoted by an entertainment website as saying, "Most of the Bigg Boss contestants from Season 1 to Season 10, who haven't understood the importance of planned PR, have faced this dilemma. The strange thing is, every season, the new ones repeat the same mistakes."
Dale further said, "Nowadays, it's not so difficult to get on TV. If one is messed up in life, or is a gay, lesbian, transgender or foreigner, has some irritating traits, a public squabble, a wardrobe malfunction, or a stagnant career, the person can be a top reality television star."
Mandana Karimi, Nora Fatehi, Kishwer Merchant, Suyyash Rai, Prince Narula and a few other contestants from the previous season are utilising the opportunity.
Sunny Leone gained entry to the Bollywood industry, post her stint on Bigg Boss. Bollywood filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, who entered the house briefly, offered Sunny the lead role in Jism 2.Now, she is a star in Bollywood!
Dhoom girl Rimi Sen entered the Bigg Boss house, but her stay disappointed many as she was seen crying most of the time! It was said that she was paid a huge amount to participate in the show. Now, she has vanished.
A few actors, who have vanished, post their Bigg Boss participation are - Kanwaljeet Singh, Niketan Madhok and Mink Brar.
This season, the Bigg Boss had opened doors for commoners. Till now, a few contestants, who have got evicted (Lokesh Kumari Sharma and Nitibha Kaul) have been utilising the opportunity well. It has to be seen how far they will go with the fame.
