After Dipika Kakar, her on-screen husband Dheeraj Dhoopar bids adieu to Colors' popular show Sasural Simar Ka. Dipika and Dheeraj became household names with their roles of Simar and Prem, on the show.

Dipika

Dheeraj
were
associated
with
the
show
for
many
years.
Dipika
ended
her
six
years
long
journey,
while
Dheeraj's
association
with
the
show
was
since
four
years.
The
actors
had
their
own
reasons
to
quit
the
show.
Dipika left the show as she wants to concentrate on her personal life, while Dheeraj has quit the show for better opportunities!
Apparently, Dheeraj had put down his papers in mid-January. Dheeraj was quoted by TOI as saying, "I am parting on a good note. I have quit the show for better opportunities and want to take up a romantic show next."
He further added, "If a project materialises, I could be back on screen within no time. Otherwise, I would like to work on my body and return in a new avatar." Dheeraj will be shooting his last episode on March 8.
Dheeraj recently got married to his girlfriend Vinny Arora.
We had reported that Keerti Kelkar has replaced Dipika Kakar and will be seen as 'new Simar'. She has also started shooting for the show.
