Earlier there were reports of the three actresses (Lovey, Tanya Sharma and Sonam Lamba) quitting Saathiya. It was said that the Tanya and Sonam didn't want to play the role of mothers to grown up sons, post leap.

But, the actresses continued the shoot and no official confirmation were issued by the actresses. Although Tanya and the maker had issues, it was said that they had sorted out and Tanya will resume the shoot soon!

Lovey had earlier quit the show, but she was brought back to the show on public demand. Now, it looks like the actress has finally made a decision and there is no look back!
Last year, Vishal Singh, who played the role of Paridhi's husband Jigar, quit the show. It was said that the actor is just taking a break from the show.
The makers had ended Gaura's (Vandana Patak) role, but she was brought back to the show with a new twist.
It has to be recalled that last year, the makers had introduced a leap, and Devoleena Bhattacharjee (Gopi) had to play the role of a grandmother. The actress didn't want to look old on-screen and decided to quit.
Apparently, Devoleena had got a huge increment and a new double track was promised to her. It is also said that she is the highest paid actor on the show.
Also, Mohammad Nazim, who played the role of Ahem had quit the show. He too, had the same issue (didn't want to look old on-screen).
The ratings of the show dropped after the viewers couldn't watch their favourite jodi on-screen. So, on public demand, he was brought back to the show with a new twist. Reportedly, he was also given a better pay cheque and a prominent track. Currently, he is seen as Jaggi on the show.
Reportedly, after his entry, the show was back on top five slot on the TRP charts.
Currently, on the show, Gopi and the Modi family are trying to save Sita from Bhavani. Also, Gaura has been trying to harm Kokila and the Modi family. It has to be seen how Gopi and Ahem rescue their family members from Bhavani and Gaura.
