Deepika Singh Hits Back At The Production House; Does Not Want To Be A Part Of Diya Aur Baati Hum 2!

It is no news that Diya Aur Baati Hum actress Deepika Singh is upset with the production house (Shashi & Sumeet Productions) of her superhit show for not clearing her dues. As per the reports, the actress is yet to receive an amount of 1.14 Crores as her payment.

It was even reported that the production house agreed to pay only 67 lakhs, by claiming that she was reporting late to the sets. The pregnant actress seems to have been caught in a legal battle of late.

As per the reports by a leading entertainment portal, the production house has sent a legal a legal notice to Deepika for allegedly defaming them by passing derogatory remarks!

The reports further state that the makers have asked her to cough up the 'monetary loss' which they have suffered. It is indeed a tough time for the actress! But, she has hit back at the production by claiming that she doesn't want to be related to the second season of the show in any manner! It has to be recalled that the shoot of the new season has already begun.

As per the reports by Spotboye, "In response to the legal notice sent to her by Diya Aur Baati Hum producers, she has written to CINTAA (Cine & TV Artistes Association) that they should help her to ensure that no pictures/voice/mention of hers finds its way into Diya Aur Baati Hum 2. Naturally, she is disgusted with the way Shashi and Sumeet have reacted to her requests for paying her dues."

We can only hope that they sort out the issue soon.
