As we had reported earlier, the makers of Star Plus' cult show Diya Aur Baati Hum are on the season 2 after a highly successful first season. The season 1 ended after a massive run of 5 years with the fateful death of the protagonists Sooraj and Sandhya (Deepika Singh).

Apparently, the shoot is going on in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The new season will focus on Kanak's journey and how she will win Bhabho's love and carry the legacy of her parents.
