Currently, on the show, Maya has left ample evidences to prove Arjun guilty for her murder. She remains successful as well, as the court pronounces death sentence for Arjun and Saanjh is punished for trying to destroy the evidence with a penalty of Rs 1 Lakh or 2 years of criminal confinement.
Arjun is taken out of the court and all of sudden he bursts out laughing. He hugs Saanjh and tells something in her ear. We assume Arjun has found something that proves him innocent and would have revealed the same to Saanjh.
After hearing Arjun's words, Saanjh, who had also given up on the case, changes her decision and asks Inspector Ranvir as to where she needs to pay the fine!
