Naamkaran: Ek Duje Ke Vaaste Actress Aditi Rathore To Play The Role Of Avni Post The Leap!

Star Plus' Naamkaran, helmed by Mahesh Bhatt will soon witness a massive leap. The makers of the show have planned to go for a leap to give a fresh feel to the show.

The story is currently revolving around Avni. The role essayed by Arsheen Namdaar is one of the most popular characters of the show. Considering the popularity of the role, makers were on hunt for an actress who could perfectly fit the bill.

Names of actresses such as Sonal Vengurlekar, Vrushika Mehta and Shivani Tomar were considered for the role. Ultimately, actress Aditi Rathore has succeeded in bagging the meaty role. The pretty actress was last seen in Ek Duke Ke Vaaste as Preeti, Nikita Dutta's younger sister.

Reports even suggest that Shivani was almost finalised for the role, but was replaced in the last minute. As per the sources, "Shivani was all set for shoot when the channel felt that the girl did not fit in the bill of the character of Avni, as they thought earlier. Hence the hunt was again on to find the actor."

Not only that, Tashan-E-Ishq actor Zain Imam has been roped in to play the role of Neil. Zain, was last seen on Yeh Vaada Raha. As we had reported earlier, Gautam Vig and Nalini Negi will be essaying pivotal roles post the leap.
