Zee TV's popular show Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani is all set to go off air. The show might shut shop by the April end. It's shocking as the show took its third leap recently.

Why The Show Is Going Off Air?
The show took a third leap recently. Apparently, the ratings were not so bad. According to reports the makers do not want to drag the story.
Sartaj Surprised With The News!
Sartaj was quoted by an entertainment portal as saying, "It came in as a surprise to us too that the channel has decided to pull the show off-air. We did not have low ratings and were doing fairly good."
All Possible Angles & Storylines Have Been Practiced On The Show…
"There are just four characters in the show primarily. All the possible angles and storylines pertaining those four characters have already been practiced. Hence, now that I think of it, the channel must have decided to not drag it further and end it on a good note."
Sartaj’s Journey On ETRETR
He was further quoted by the entertainment portal as saying, "The journey has been absolutely phenomenal. When Eisha and I entered the show, there were plans of the show being shut."
"However, in contrast, the ratings boosted and we got so much love and appreciation for it. So, that was a proud moment for me and I couldn't have had a better time."
Post Ek Tha Raja… Sartaj’s Plans To…
Sartaj plans to take a break. He also would be travelling. After he is back from his break, he will consider shows and offers. He also promises to be back soon.
Eisha’s Journey On ETRETR
Eisha also feels fortunate to be part of the show. She is glad that she got the opportunity to play such different characters in it. She enjoyed playing all of them.
Sartaj further added as to why he felt stressful at times, "Since, I signed the show and got into the character, I could proudly tell everyone that this is a one-man show. Evidently, there are no other male characters in the show per se and hence, that becomes an added responsibility for me. And at times, that became really stressful as you know that you have live up to audience's expectations."
In the third season of Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, Rani was reborn in a Rajputana family, while Raja is seen as her bodyguard. Rani hates boys and do not want to get married. Initially, she didn't even want bodyguard, but agreed just because of her mother Suminda. Rani tries to make Raja leave, but fails.
In the previous episode, Suminda asks Rani to think about Kundan and her marriage. Raja reveals to Rani that she doesn't want to get married as she loves her mother. Kundan and Suminda overhear Raja and Rani's conversation. Kundan decides to take Suminda to London, post marriage.
