show
Ek

Raja
Ek
Thi
Rani
is
all
set
to
go
off
air.
The
show
might
shut
shop
by
the
April
end.
It's
shocking
as
the
show
took
its
third
leap
recently.
The
first
season
had
Drashti
Dhami
and
Siddhant
Karnick
as
the
lead
actors,
while
the
second
and
third
season
was
taken
over
by
Eisha
Singh
and
Sartaj
Gill.

Why
The
Show
Is
Going
Off
Air?
The
show
took
a
third
leap
recently.
Apparently,
the
ratings
were
not
so
bad.
According
to
reports
the
makers
do
not
want
to
drag
the
story.
Sartaj
Surprised
With
The
News!
Sartaj
was
quoted
by
an
entertainment
portal
as
saying,
"It
came
in
as
a
surprise
to
us
too
that
the
channel
has
decided
to
pull
the
show
off-air.
We
did
not
have
low
ratings
and
were
doing
fairly
good."
All
Possible
Angles
&
Storylines
Have
Been
Practiced
On
The
Show…
"There
are
just
four
characters
in
the
show
primarily.
All
the
possible
angles
and
storylines
pertaining
those
four
characters
have
already
been
practiced.
Hence,
now
that
I
think
of
it,
the
channel
must
have
decided
to
not
drag
it
further
and
end
it
on
a
good
note."
Sartaj’s
Journey
On
ETRETR
He
was
further
quoted
by
the
entertainment
portal
as
saying,
"The
journey
has
been
absolutely
phenomenal.
When
Eisha
and
I
entered
the
show,
there
were
plans
of
the
show
being
shut."
Sartaj
Added…
"However,
in
contrast,
the
ratings
boosted
and
we
got
so
much
love
and
appreciation
for
it.
So,
that
was
a
proud
moment
for
me
and
I
couldn't
have
had
a
better
time."

Sartaj’s
Plans
To…
Sartaj
plans
to
take
a
break.
He
also
would
be
travelling.
After
he
is
back
from
his
break,
he
will
consider
shows
and
offers.
He
also
promises
to
be
back
soon.
Eisha’s
Journey
On
ETRETR
Eisha
also
feels
fortunate
to
be
part
of
the
show.
She
is
glad
that
she
got
the
opportunity
to
play
such
different
characters
in
it.
She
enjoyed
playing
all
of
them.
Sartaj
further
added
as
to
why
he
felt
stressful
at
times,
"Since,
I
signed
the
show
and
got
into
the
character,
I
could
proudly
tell
everyone
that
this
is
a
one-man
show.
Evidently,
there
are
no
other
male
characters
in
the
show
per
se
and
hence,
that
becomes
an
added
responsibility
for
me.
And
at
times,
that
became
really
stressful
as
you
know
that
you
have
live
up
to
audience's
expectations."
In
the
third
season
of
Ek
Tha
Raja
Ek
Thi
Rani,
Rani
was
reborn
in
a
Rajputana
family,
while
Raja
is
seen
as
her
bodyguard.
Rani
hates
boys
and
do
not
want
to
get
married.
Initially,
she
didn't
even
want
bodyguard,
but
agreed
just
because
of
her
mother
Suminda.
Rani
tries
to
make
Raja
leave,
but
fails.
In
the
previous
episode,
Suminda
asks
Rani
to
think
about
Kundan
and
her
marriage.
Raja
reveals
to
Rani
that
she
doesn't
want
to
get
married
as
she
loves
her
mother.
Kundan
and
Suminda
overhear
Raja
and
Rani's
conversation.
Kundan
decides
to
take
Suminda
to
London,
post
marriage.
Apparently,
Raja
has
hidden
intention
to
work
as
Rani's
bodyguard.
