Hyderabad-based singer, LV Revanth became the winner of the popular musical reality show, Indian Idol 7 yesterday (April 2). The talented singer took home a coveted trophy, prize money of 25 Lakhs, a contract with Sony Music and a Mahindra KUV 100.

The versatile singer has a become an instant favourite of the masses and has a huge fanbase. Revanth has been a consistent performer throughout his journey in the show.
After getting a foothold in the Telugu movie industry, the singer wants to focus now on Bollywood.

The singer recalled his struggle during the initial days and mentioned that he was often insulted for not knowing Hindi. He told, "Whenever I went for auditions, I was often insulted for not knowing Hindi and wanting to become a playback singer."

Furthermore, "People made fun of me, but when I hold the mic I forget everything and that has helped me in moving forward in life. I am happy that I have managed to win one of the biggest shows of our country, Indian Idol", told Revanth.

The singer now wants to make a career in Bollywood. However, he feels that surviving is tough. Nonetheless, he wants to work hard and make the most of his win. The singer revealed that he is huge fan of Akshay Kumar and wants to sing for him.

"I would like to sing for everyone, but Akshay Kumar is my most favourite and I would love to playback for him someday", told the singer.
