OH NO! After Additi Gupta, Laksh Lalwani Quits Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil!
Actor Laksh Lalwani aka Veer Mehra has quit the show, Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil, as he was creatively dissatisfied with his track.
It looks like the actors of Star Plus' popular show, Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil are on a quitting spree! Recently, we had reported that actress Additi Gupta, who played the role of Sanjana has called it quits because she was unhappy with the way her role was shaping up on the show.
The show has not been successful in fetching good ratings so far. With an aim to improve the ratings, a leap was introduced post which Raghav and Naina (Drashti Dhami) were shown living separately. As fate would have it, Raghav and Naina meet again!

Laksh Quits The Show
In an interview to a leading entertainment portal, Laksh spoke about leaving the show. He told, "I wasn't creatively satisfied and convinced with my track. I had certain expectations from my character, which did not materialise. I shot my last episode a week ago."
Laksh & Rashmi Desai
Laksh has constantly been in limelight due to personal life. The actor was touted to be in a relationship with popular actress Rashmi Desai. But both the actors denied the rumours. He was then linked to his PMHMD co-star, Additi Gupta.
Laksh On His Relationship With Rashmi
It was even speculated that Laksh's increasing closeness with Additi led to her break-up with long-time boyfriend, Rizwan Bachav. But, Additi denied the rumours. Laksh opened up about his link-up with Rashmi. He told, "The problem is that I am young. The moment I befriend an actress, we get linked. Rashmi is still a friend and we share a healthy relationship."
'I Am Not A Casanova', Says Laksh
Furthermore, "It's disappointing when I am linked to people. Mentioning Rashami's age and stating that she is dating a younger guy is quite demeaning. It was reported that she left her home and mother for me. How is that possible? I am not a Casanova."

About his link-up with co-actor Additi, he told, "She was equally close to Arjun (Arjun Bijlani, his PMHMD co-star), but nobody would link her with him because he is married. What is so great about me that a girl will end her relationship of five years for me?"
'I Am Single', Says Laksh
Furthermore, "I became mature quite early in life because of family circumstances. I connect better with elder people. My personal life isn't my priority. I have managed to find my feet in the industry and can't allow my personal life to gain focus. I am single."

"I didn't quit 'Pardes'... for 'Porus'. I had decided to quit the daily soap sometime ago and Porus materialised recently. It's a sheer coincidence and nothing more," concludes the actor.
