It
has
to
be
recalled
that
before
ruling
the
Bollywood
industry,
Shahrukh
had
won
the
hearts
of
the
viewers
with
his
television
shows.
It
also
has
to
be
noted
that
SRK
debuted
with
television
show
Fauji.
After
Dil
Dariya
and
Fauji,
Circus
was
aired
on
television.
As
soon
as
Doordarshan
announced
this
news
on
Twitter,
the
viewers
were
all
excited
and
thanked
Doordarshan
for
the
same.
A
few
of
them
even
requested
DD
to
telecast
SRK's
other
show
Fauji
as
well.
Renuka
Shahane
also
tweeted,
"That's
such
good
news....thanks
@DDNational
😊😊."
Circus
was
a
cult
show,
that
was
aired
in
1989.
The
show
was
directed
by
Aziz
Mirza
and
Kundan
Shah.
SRK
played
the
role
of
a
Malayalee
circus
owner
-
Shekharan.
As
the
name
suggests,
the
show
revolved
around
people
who
worked
in
the
circus.
The
show
also
had
Ashutosh
Gowariker,
Renuka
Shahane
and
other
well-known
actors.
