Thapki Pyar Ki: Ankit Bathla To Be Replaced; Sheena Bajaj Quits The Show!

Thapki Pyar Ki will shortly be taking five years leap. Apparently, Ankit Bathla, who plays the role of Dhruv, will not be part of the show, post leap. The actor didn't want to grow old on-screen and hence, bid goodbye to the show. There are also reports that Ankit Bathla will be replaced by Jatin Shah.

A source was quoted by an entertainment portal as saying, "The storyline of Thapki will soon see dramatic twists and turns, and the separation between Bihaan (Manish Goplani) and Thapki (Jigyasa Singh). Jatin will come with all his experience as the new Dhruv post the leap."

There are also reports that Dhruv's love interest Aditi will also be quitting the show. According to the latest spoiler, Aditi will be shown dead. Aditi and Biman will be seen chasing the goons in order to save Thapki's child. During this, Aditi will lose her life.

Sheena confirmed the reports and was quoted by another entertainment website as saying, "Yes, my character is ending in the show. It was a lovely journey. I am leaving the show as the makers have decided to introduce a leap and I don't want to continue after the leap."

She further added, "The makers of the show and the producers are very happy with my performance and they have planned a proper ending to the character. Finally, am saying Good Bye to the team. Will soon start something new."

It has to be recalled that this is not the first time both actors are quitting the show. Ankit and Sheena had previously quit the show, but they were brought back.
