Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji SPOILER: Uma Shankar To Turn Negative; Tortures Rathi Family!

Star Plus' much-awaited show, Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji kicked off last week under the 'Star Plus Dopahar' initiative. Sooraj and Sandhya's daughter, Kanak completes her graduation and eagerly returns to her hometown, Pushkar to stay with her family.

With the help of her brothers, Ved and Vansh she decides to win Bhabho's love. Meanwhile, Bhabho hates Kanak and constantly avoids her due to the reasons best known to her.

In order to get rid of her, she finalises a prospective groom for her, so that she gets married and goes away. Kanak agrees for the sake of Bhabho and feels that that she will excitedly take part in the wedding preparations. The wedding date is fixed. (Check out the latest spoiler below).

Uma Shankar

Uma Shankar has entered the Pushkar city. Viewers got to see some hit-and-miss moments between Kanak and Uma Shankar.

Kanak & Mayank

For the uninitiated, Kanak's wedding has been finalised with Mayanak. However, in a shocking turn of events, the wedding will be called off and Kanak's wedding will be fixed with Uma Shankar instead!

Kanak Not Willing To Marry Uma Shankar

As we had reported earlier, Uma Shankar and Kanak have contrasting personalities, due to which she will not be interested to marry him. On the wedding day, Kanak will unwillingly dressed up as a bride but she will run away from the venue.

Uma Shankar Tortures Rathi Family

But, she will be kidnapped by Uma Shankar's men who will bring her back to the mantap. Viewers will get to see a different side of Uma Shankar, who will torture Bhabho, Vansh, Babasa and other Rathi family members.

Kanak Agrees To Marry Uma Shankar

Not only that, he will snatch the property papers from them, in order to marry Kanak. As the fate would have it, Kanak will unwillingly marry Uma Shankar, just to save her family.

Kanak's Motive

Few reports also suggest that Kanak's motive behind marrying Uma Shankar is to get back her father Suraj's sweet shop.

In the upcoming episodes, actress Madhura Naik, who was last seen in Naagin is all set to enter the show. The actress has been roped in to play the role of Paulomi, a parallel lead.

Million dollar question! Has Uma Shankar really turned negative or is it Bhabho's plan to get rid of Kanak?

Well, the show has been grabbing eyeballs for its interesting content. In an interview to a leading entertainment portal, Avinash Rekhi who plays the role of Uma Shankar reacts to his comparison with Anas Rashid.

He told, "Comparisons with Anas Rashid don't bother me. For me, Umashankar is a new character and 'Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji' is a fresh story taking forward the legacy the first season left behind"

"The first show has done its job and created a strong fan following for itself and now it's our turn to live up to the expectations", concluded Avinash.
