He said that during her marriage, he was the only one who was crying at her bidaai. His parents were cool and calm, but he was hysterical with the thought of letting her go. He added that she is the most important part of his life, and misses her every day.

Mishkat had also said in an interview to an entertainment website, "I am one of the brothers who expresses love to his sister a lot. I give her a good night and god morning kiss. We are very close to each other and she is like a mother to me."
