The Bhajan samraat Anup Jalota and his student Jasleen Matharu shocked the viewers by making their relationship official on the national television, as they entered the Bigg Boss 12 house. But inside the house, their behaviour surprised the contestants, as they were not seen as lovers. Many of them questioned about the same, as they felt they were faking their relationship for the cameras! A few contestants, who exited the house, also said the couple was genuine. But, recently, Anup was eliminated from the house and he made a shocking revelation.

Anup Was Clear About His & Jasleen’s Relationship
Talking about his love story being scripted by the Bigg Boss makers, he told the leading daily that upon entering the house, he had stressed upon the fact that she was his student. Also, whenever the contestants questioned about their relationship, he always said that they were good friends. However, at no point during the show, they held each other's hands!
Anup Calls Jasleen, A Ghost!
He further revealed that his mother asked about Jasleen and he called her a ‘ghost' which meant, she didn't exist as nothing was there between them! Anup was quoted by Bollywoodlife as saying, "Post my exit, I went straight to visit my mom, who is 85 years old. The first thing she asked me is who is Jasleen. I told her that she is a ghost and there was nothing of that sort."
The Singer Was Surprised With Public Response!
The singer is surprised with the hullabaloo that happened in the social media on the topic of their affair. He said, "I can understand people commenting on own family matters but this kind of interest in an individual's life whom you don't know personally is baffling. Of course, there was nothing between Jasleen and me but the interest of common public is shocking."
“It Was A Non-Existent Affair”
He further added, "It was a non-existent affair. But I did not know that I was so important. We have seen many couples with huge age difference but this kind of reaction is unwanted. I cannot understand this obsession about other people's personal lives."
Anup Didn’t Have Time To React
Anup further said that he wants to do Jasleen's ‘kanyadaan'! He told the leading daily, "Kesar Ji and I had discussed that we would enter in as a guru - shishya Jodi. On stage, Jasleen said we were a couple. She was locked in six days before me. I had no time to react."

"I thought it might be a strategy and decided to play along. I can act a bit (laughs uproariously). I have told Kesar Matharu if he will let me do Jasleen's Kanyadaan as and when she gets married. He said we will do her Kanyadaaan together."
