The design of the Bigg Boss 12 house is based on a ‘beach theme’. It is designed by Omung Kumar.
Colors' controversial reality show is all set to hit the television screen. Apart from the contestants list, fans are eager to look at the interiors of the house! This time, the house has a theme of 'beach'! Previously, a few pictures of the house were leaked. The house looks like a beach house and it will be a sort of 3-month holiday for the contestants who will be participating in the show! Regarding the house design, Abhishek Rege, CEO, Endemol Shine India in a statement said, "The beachy tranquil décor of the Bigg Boss house, may lure the contestants into thinking that their journey in the house will be a relaxed one, but the out of the box tasks will quickly pull them back to reality."
He further added, "This year, we have planned new twists and surprises for contestants that will test their compatibility, resilience and showcase their ability to bring the best or worst out of each other." Regarding the house's design, Omung Kumar was quoted by Mumbai Mirror as saying, "This season, the design of the Bigg Boss house has been themed around a modern, luxurious, holiday destination."

He further added, "Full of life, culture and interesting components, the entire house will be a visual treat for the viewers. There is an element of underwater mystique to the décor with a lot of shells and watery tones to bring out the beauty of the sea."

Omung Kumar further told the leading daily, "Designing the Bigg Boss House is always a great play. The house will be a perfect dose of Vitamin - SEA for the housemates this season."
In Picture: Living Room
The grand, spacious living room of the house is the most vibrant area. It has a huge tree and the collection of seahorse, starfish, oysters and other sea creatures flanked on one of the walls, which gives it a coastal feel.
In Picture: Confession Room
This is our favourite room, as it looks different from other areas of the house! It is designed and styled in the bohemian way. It has colourful lanterns, cushions and a low wooden table!
Kaal Kothari (Jail)
The house will also have a Kaal Kothari that has been erected in the garden area. As the viewers are aware, the worst performer will be sent to the jail. The jail has three beds and a tiny toilet.
