Bigg Boss 12: Is Salman Khan Involved In The Casting Of Bigg Boss?
During media interaction at the launch of Bigg Boss 12, Salman Khan revealed whether he is involved in casting of Bigg Boss.
The biggest reality show Bigg Boss 12 was launched yesterday (September 4, 2018) at the Villa Marina in Goa. Salman Khan entertained the guests and journalists at the event. The actor, who is returning as the host of the show for the sixth time, also revealed some interesting trivia! During the media interaction, he revealed that Shahrukh Khan was the original choice to host the show. But SRK couldn't host the show, as he suffered from shoulder injury at that time. He also introduced Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa as the first jodi of the show.

involved
in
the
selection
of
contestants.
During
the
media
interaction,
the
actor
said
that
he
does
get
calls
from
people
who
are
interested
in
participating
in
the
controversial
reality
show,
but
clarified
that
he
doesn't
take
a
call
on
casting
the
contestants.
The
actor
was
quoted
by
IANS
as
saying,
"I
get
a
lot
of
calls
but
I
tell
them
that
I
am
not
part
of
the
casting
bit."
Salman says that nothing can be hidden and people cannot fake on camera. Regarding the theme, the host said, "There will be interesting jodis and the more interesting people are the people in the creative team who will make sure that the jodis break up. So no matter how much they (contestants) plan or whisper, they have a microphone all the time. Everything can be heard. The cameras are there 24/7 and there are three batches of people who watch everyone."
When asked whether he will have a co-host on the show, the actor said, "No." The actor confessed that he has many favourites on the show. He was quoted by IANS as saying, "There are so many of them. People who have gone over the top, they don't have any work. The ones who conquered their weaknesses and developed their strengths, are doing well."
He praised the Bigg Boss 8 winner and said, "Gautam Gulati lost the plot in the first two weeks and after that, he turned everything around to win 'Bigg Boss' which is a commendable thing."
It has to be recalled that Salman Khan has been helping the contestants inside the house to sort out issue. He even reprimands them when they cross the line! But only a few take it in good spirits, while many of them blame, even threaten, Salman after they leave the house. They are also seen using his name to gain popularity in the media. When Salman was asked regarding the same, he said, "It's fine! How does it matter?"
