Bigg Boss assigns the task and divides the contestants into two groups – Shinde parivaar and Gupta parivaar. The cute banter of ShiKas reminded fans of Bigg Boss 11.

On Day 44, Shilpa Shinde and Vikas Gupta entered the Bigg Boss 12 house and surprised the contestants. As soon as they arrived, they greeted the contestants and started giving advice to their favourite contestants. While Vikas was seen advising Dipika, Rohit and Karanvir, Shilpa was seen advising Sreesanth. Shilpa even revealed to Jasleen that Jasleen's father is upset with her relationship with Anup Jalota, while Vikas teases Deepak with Somi. Jasleen is disturbed and upset with Anup!
Later, Bigg Boss divides the contestants into two groups - Shinde parivaar and Gupta parivaar. In Shinde parivaar, Romil, Somi, Surbhi, Deepak, Urvashi and Sreesanth are grouped, while Gupta parivaar consisted of Karanvir, Srishty, Dipika, Shivashish, Megha and Jasleen. The housemates had to collect items from the storeroom and start making their rangolis. Vikas and Shilpa were the sanchalaks of the task.

During the task, not just housemates, Shilpa and Vikas too, got into an argument - which reminded fans of their cute banter from Bigg Boss 11. At the end of the day, the scores of Vikas' team was one and Shilpa's team was zero. Most of the fans loved the episode just because of their favourite ShiKas.
