She got a lot of support from her fans and bagged the Bigg Boss 11 trophy. Since then, there has been no stopping her! Post her Bigg Boss stint, she did a web series with Sunil Grover titled Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan. Their jodi was loved by the fans. Recently, Shilpa grabbed headlines, as Twitter revealed that along with South Superstar Vijay, she was the only other Indian celebrity whose hashtag was used the maximum on Twitter!
Today (August 28), the actress is celebrating her 41st birthday. The Bigg Boss 11 winner reveals that she will be celebrating her birthday with her loved ones.
Shilpa Shinde’s Birthday Plans
When asked about her birthday plans, Shilpa told Bollywoodlife, "I will be spending time at home with my loved ones. Many of my fans want to meet me so I have called them over to my place. I have received countless gifts this birthday ranging from candle stands to clothes, shoes, decor items and what not. The whole day is not enough to unwrap those gifts. They have left me emotional so I want to meet them."
Shilpa Is On A Break
Currently, the actress is on a break and is focussing on fitness. The actress told the entertainment website, "I want to take time off till September end till I resume work. I am undergoing some Ayurvedic wellness treatment now. I had become a little lazy with my diet in between, so I need to lose a few kilos."

On being as popular as South Superstar Vijay, the actress says, "This is unbelievable. I get teary-eyed thinking about the kind of love fans have showered in the past one year. I always had fans but what is happening now is unprecedented. I feel it is my father's blessings. He is sending his love from above."
The Actress Doesn’t Want To Do Saas-bahu Sagas
In a recent interview to TOI, the actress had clarified that she is done with reality shows and saas-bahu sagas. She had said that she would like to judge a comedy show if she is offered one, as it is a familiar territory for her.
Her Upcoming Projects
Shilpa revealed to the entertainment portal that she is in talks for a Marathi film, but refused to divulge more details. The film's announcement might be made in mid of September. She also has something in Hindi in the pipeline. The actress adds, "One thing is sure, I won't associate with the white collar mafia anymore."
