Did She Take Up The Role To Break Her Bahu Image?

When asked whether she took up Komolika to break her bahu image, the actress said, "I did that already. But as an actor, it was a great opportunity to prove my versatility. I should be able to do any character. That's the fun part of the challenge. I must say I have really worked hard and have broken quite a few stereotypes. And I can promise that the next character that I play will be a positive one."

Hina Is Putting A Lot Of Effort For Her New Role Komolika

Hina says she has been putting in a lot of effort for her new role. She told the leading daily, "Komolika is all about nakhras and adaa. We wanted it to be completely different from the previous one. She is a hell of a girl. She dresses differently, has her own charm. I am sure her look will soon become a style statement, especially her nose rings. She will have a lot of shades, and you will get to know her better once we start rolling. There's so much about her. Komolika is a very unpredictable girl and you will be waiting to know what would be her next moves."

Hina Asked Ekta Why She Is Making Her Fans Cry!

When asked about the curiosity created around Komolika by Ekta, the actress said, "I loved it completely. But sometimes I would message Ekta and ask her, ‘Aap kya kar rahe hai? Kyu kar rahe ho? (What are you doing and why?) My fans are crying.' But she told me to wait as when it will eventually happen, they would love it. And I am so glad it turned out really well. The wait has been worthwhile. And I want to tell my fans that they have waited enough and now from tonight, they will have me back in their lives."

Hina Can’t Forget her Previous Role Akshara

Hina played Akshara for eight long years and couldn't forget it while shooting for her new role! She revealed to BT, "Every actor has to fill the log sheet and mention their in and out time and also state the name of their character. I somehow simply wrote Akshara in the character name column. I completely forgot that I was no longer Akshara and was Komolika now. It was such a nostalgic yet amusing moment for me."

"I understand why it happened. I have been Akshara for so many years and then I went on a break and did reality shows. So coming back to doing fiction, I wrote Akshara because that was the name I had been living and writing in the character name section for years now, so was just used to it. But the moment I realised that I was Komolika, I immediately corrected it."

It Wasn’t Difficult For Hina To Get Back To Fiction

"Surprisingly, it wasn't difficult for me to get back to fiction. I didn't feel at all that I have come onto sets to shoot for a show after good two years. It looked as if I never went on a break at all. Anyway that break was just from fiction as on professional front, I was working from doing reality shows to other things."
