Star Plus’ popular show Ishqbaaz is all set to take a generation leap. Gul Khan has confirmed that the leap will happen in December. Fans are upset as there are reports that Surbhi might quit the show
Although Star Plus' show Ishqbaaz is struggling to re-enter the TRP chart, the show has managed to win hearts, thanks to Shivaay and Anika's love track. But it is being said that the show is all set to take a generation leap. Apparently, Anika will be shown pregnant with Shivaay's child. It is also said that Surbhi Chandna, who plays the role of Anika, is unhappy with the leap and might quit the show. Like a few television actresses, Surbhi too is a bit apprehensive about playing a mother on screen.
The producer of the show, Gul Khan has confirmed the leap on the show.

Gul Khan was quoted by Pinkvilla as saying, "We are taking a generation leap in Ishqbaaaz in December." It is being said that Nakuul is the only actor who will be retained from the current lot on the show. He will be seen playing Shivaay's son, Shivaansh Singh Oberoi.
New Face To Be Seen Alongside Nakuul
According to report, the channel wanted to explore the baby track in the show, but since it didn't work out, the makers have planned a leap. Apparently, Nakuul will be seen alongside a new face on the show. The makers are finding the suitable actress for the same.
