It is being said that Shahrukh Khan, who recently shot for the promotional video of Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2, has charged Rs 8 Crores!

Ekta Kapoor's reboot version of the epic love saga Kasautii Zindagi Kay has been creating a lot of buzz ever since it was announced. The show, which was supposed to air on September 10, 2018, was postponed to September 25. Recently, the producer announced the show's new premiere date with a super cute video that featured Bollywood Superstar Shahrukh Khan. The video had Ekta explaining about the show, and Badshah of Bollywood teasing Ekta about her love life. While the video came as a pleasant surprise for many of them, do you know another shocking thing about the promotional video?
Apparently, Shahrukh Khan charged an exorbitant fee for the promotional video. It is being said that SRK charged a whopping sum of Rs 8 Crores for shooting the promo.
Shahrukh Khan Charged Rs 8 Crores
According to Times Now report, the actor was supposed to shoot for only one promotional video. But, he shot three more videos for the show later. If reports are to be believed, SRK charged Rs 5 Crores for a video which also featured Ekta Kapoor, and Rs 1 Crore each for the other three videos, which will be out soon.
SRK Shoots For About 6-8 Hours With Ekta!
It has to be recalled that SRK plays a narrator as well! For the narrative part, SRK reportedly shot for about 2 to 3 hours and 6 to 8 hours with Ekta for the promotional shoot. For the entire shoot, he spent a total of 720 minutes.
Kasautii Zindagi Kay Cast
Erica Fernandes plays the role of Prerna (played by Shweta Tiwari in the original) on the show, which is confirmed. Apparently, Parth Samthaan will be seen playing the role of Anurag Basu (played by Cezanne Khan) and Urvashi Dholakia's (Komolika) role will be played by Hina Khan. Many popular actors have been roped in to play the other main characters of the show.

It is being said that the team will be shooting for a small part in Kolkata! It has to be recalled that Erica and Parth's on-the-sets pictures went viral on the social media.
