Gul Khan's supernatural thriller, Nazar that stars Monalisa and Harsh Rajput in the lead roles, premiered on July 30, 2018. The show stars former Bigg Boss contestant Monalisa as a dayaan. Harsh Rajput and Niyati Fatnani play the lead roles on the show. The show starts with Monalisa (who is a dayaan) waiting at the railway station. A man tries to help her (unaware of her being a dayaan) by warning her about a dayaan who kills people to remain young. In the next scene, the dayaan kills the man with her ponytail!
The scene then shifts to a haveli, where Ansh's (Harsh) mother Vaideshwi is worried and waiting for him. She tells her husband Shekhar that she wants to get her son married to a girl who has a trishul sign on her body. Meanwhile, Ansh is seen in a random racing competition, where he gets hurt. But since he is half human and half ghost, his wound gets healed!

Vaideshwi organises ‘Jai Ambe Mahakali' puja home. Mother-son sentiment and family drama is witnessed during the pooja! Meanwhile, the dayaan gains entry to the house and the pandit gets to know about this, as the coconut water turns black. In the precap, dayaan warns Vaideshwi that she can't save Ansh from her.
The Show Fails To Impress The Fans
The fans are disappointed with the show. Poor story & graphics, too much of background music, slow motion scenes, and revelation of major scenes in the beginning itself have ruined the show! The dialogues seem filmy.

Shashwat Rai: Tried watching #Nazar but couldn't succeed. It was unintentionally funny. Bad casting, badly written screenplay, dialogues were over the top and Horrible acting. Not expected this from Gul Khan and star plus. - (sic)
