Roop: Shashank Vyas Is Harassing His Co-actor Donal Bisht; Often Taunts Her Saying She Isn’t Famous!
It is being said that Shashank Vyas has been harassing Donal Bisht on Roop - Mard Ka Naya Swaroop sets and he taunts her saying she isn’t famous!
Recently, there was a buzz that Roop - Mard Ka Naya Swaroop actors Shashank Vyas and Donal Bisht, who play the roles of Roop and Ishika, had a major fight while shooting for a sequence. According to Tellychakkar report, Donal was shooting a scene and gave a couple of retakes for the same, Shashank, who witnessed this, started laughing at her. This did not go well with Donal and they ended up in a verbal spat, resulting in the two going into their respective vanities. When Shashank was asked regarding the same, he had said that it was a creative disagreement, but they are not rigid. They are professionals and work with mutual agreement! Donal too had said that somebody might have 'interpreted the situation wrongly'.
An onlooker told Bollywoodlife, "Shashank Vyas who is a senior actor to co-star Donal Bisht who is just a year old in the industry, is harassing her." Read on to know more!
Shashank Is Not Cordial With Donal!
It is being said that Shashank is not cordial with Donal from day one. A source was quoted by the entertainment portal as saying, "The issue has been going since long, almost weeks after the leap. Shashank had some issues with Donal."
He Had Left Donal Embarrassed!
"Initially, it started as teasing and pulling her leg. However, he soon started humiliating her. He has often pinpointed her mistakes openly, which has left the actress embarrassed in front of the entire crew."
Shashank & Donal Get Into A Major Fight!
"During the particular fight that was reported, the same thing happened. Shashank asked Donal to do a scene better, and she retaliated saying that she has spoken about it with the director. That's where the verbal spat commenced."
Shashank’s Perspective Sounds More Like An Order
An actor from the show on condition of anonymity told the entertainment portal, "Shashank likes to give his perspective, which sounds more like an order than a suggestion. On several occasions, he has questioned Donal and her acting abilities."
The Actor Got Restless When A New Character Was Introduced!
"In fact, during one of the shots, he also went on to publicly say, ‘Now that you have shared screen space with me, you've become a heroine, before this you were nothing.' One day, because of the introduction of a new character, he got so restless that he stalled the shoot and went ahead to talk to the channel only to make sure that his prominence is not lost."
He Taunts Donal Saying She Isn’t Famous
Another source close to the production house said, "He surely has some problem with Donal or probably he is too insecure. He often taunts her saying that she isn't that famous in comparison to his fan following. He always wanted the track to revolve around him and not focus much on her. He has also gone to the channel with the suggestion of replacing her."
He Even Refused To Chase Ishika (Donal)
"In one of the sequences, he refused to chase Ishika (Donal's on-screen character) and asked why he chase a girl being the male lead. ‘If you want to give her more importance why don't you replace the show's name as Ishika from Roop,' he said during that incident."
The Actor Always Cribs & Wants To Be The Centre Of Attraction
Another source, who worked with Shashank in his previous show Jaana Na Dil Se Door confirmed the same and told the entertainment portal, "He is always cribbing that he needs to be the centre of attraction since the show is about him. In fact, in his previous show, the crew was so upset with his behaviour that they refused to take his gift (Vyas gifted the entire crew a bunch of T-shirts on the last day)."
Donal Refused To Talk About The Issue
It is also said that when Neil Bhat and Donal were headed to Chandigarh for a promotional trip sans Shashank, he had created hullaballoo on the sets. When Donal was asked regarding the same, she said, "Both of us are shooting as professionals. And honestly I would not like to talk about this issue anymore."
