Soni Razdan Says She Had Seen Alok Nath Behave Lecherously When Drunk; Shares Her #MeToo Story!
Alok Nath’s Buniyaad co-star Soni Razdan says that he behaved lecherously after he would be drunk. The actress shares her #MeToo story.
Soni Razdan, who has been a part of the television and film industries for years, had earlier worked with Alok Nath (who has been accused by many women of sexual harassment) in the 80s hit show Buniyaad. The actress reveals to The Quint that she was horrified when she heard about Vinita Nanda's account. She also added that it is a known fact that Alok had a Jekyll and Hyde personality. She says that she has witnessed his bad behaviour several times.

Alok Behaved Lecherously When Drunk
Soni was quoted by The Quint as saying, "I have seen him behave very, very, I would say lecherously after he has been drunk. Even at one time, I wouldn't say he made a pass at me but I didn't like the way he was looking at me." She adds the best thing for Alok to do is to "just acknowledge it and apologise to Vinta because she deserves that apology".

Soni adds that she has been lucky that she hasn't faced sexual harassment while she approached somebody for work, but she did face it in other ways.
Why Didn’t She Report The Incident?
The actress was quoted by the website as saying, "When I was on a film shoot and somebody tried to rape me, for example that kind of thing. Luckily they didn't succeed." But she didn't report the same at that time, as she didn't want the person's family to go through the trauma after learning about his actions.
Soni Added
"I realised if I would have opened my mouth that person would have gone through a lot of problems. He had a family, small children. And at that time I said, ok, nothing really happened, I managed to control it but obviously I never spoke to that person again. I did not talk about it because of any shame or anything like that. I felt that I would be hurting his family, whom I knew."
But she further added that if such an incident had happened in today's time, she would have complained about it!
