Earlier, Surveen Chawla surprised her fans with her wedding news. The actress married businessman Akshay Thakker in 2015, in Italy. She had revealed that it was a personal choice to not talk about the wedding. She had added that Akshay hates media glare, which might be another reason that they didn't reveal about their wedding. Recently, the actress yet again surprised the fans by revealing that she is pregnant with her first child. She is expecting her baby in April 2019.

Regarding her pregnancy, she told BT, "It's a beautiful feeling and more so, as it has come completely unexpected for Akshay and me. Suddenly, life has become beautiful. I am looking forward to every step now. Of course, it's unfamiliar territory, but the only one that comes with a guarantee of being wonderful. Akshay and I feel really blessed!"
The actress is enjoying all the pampering by her family. She adds that she hasn't compromised on her work. Earlier, she had opted out of a project, as she had to be careful in the beginning, but now she is shooting and will continue to work until she can. She adds that she wants to enjoy this phase.
