Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai SPOILER: Diwali Special! Makers To Surprise Fans; Old Cast To Return!
The makers of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai are bringing the Maheshwari family back on the show. Pooja Joshi aka Varsha confirmed the same and revealed that she is excited to shoot for the episode.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai was on top three slot for a long time. But the show has witnessed a major drop recently! The makers are trying their best to bring the show back to the top slot. It has to be recalled that post Kartik and Naira's wedding, the makers have been focussing on the couple and Goenka family and at times shifted to Singhania family. Currently, the track focuses on Kartik-Naira, Goenakas and Samarth. According to the latest report, the makers are all set to treat the viewers with Diwali special episode.
For the same, the makers have got the old cast back on the show! Yes, you heard it right! The viewers will get to watch the Maheshwari family again. This will be a cameo appearance of the family. Pooja Joshi, who played the role of Varsha, confirmed the report.
Maheshwari Family Is Back On The Show!
Pooja was quoted by TOI as saying, "Yes, I am back in the show and so is the Maheshwari family after a really long time." Apparently, the actress has already shot for the promo of the same and will soon be shooting for the Diwali special episode.
Pooja Joshi Aka Varsha Is Excited To Shoot For The Show!
She added, "Though a cameo appearance, it will be a special one for Diwali. I am extremely happy and excited to start shooting for my show after so long. It's like one huge family and the makers are extremely supportive and cooperative. They know my little one is still too young and that I couldn't shoot for hours like before. They understood it and told me to just shoot for a few hours only."

The actress further said, "I am honestly not aware who all have been roped in from the old cast. It all depends upon their availability. We haven't shot for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai since a really long time and obviously everyone must be busy with their other professional or personal commitments. So who all are going to be a part of this reunion, I am not too sure."
YRKKH Latest Update: Kartik & Naira Fail To Get Evidence Against Samarth!
Currently on the show, Kartik and Naira are unsuccessful in getting evidences against Samarth. During Diwali night, Samarth confesses that he has come to destroy Goenka family. Kartik records Samarth's confession. Unfortunately, Samarth gets to know the same and destroys the phone by throwing it in the fire!
