The Kapil Sharma Show has been entertaining the viewers since the past few weeks. The show has been one of the top shows on the TRP chart and the viewers have been showering a lot of love to Kapil and his team! In yesterday's episode (January 27, 2019), Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga actors - Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Sonam Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao and the director graced the show. Kapil Thanks Anil Kapoor For Attending His Reception
Kapil revealed to the viewers how Anil Kapoor made it to his wedding reception despite it being his birthday. Kapil thanked Anil for attending his reception. But he was upset with Juhi as she didn't attend the wedding.
Juhi’s Special Gift For Kapil & Ginni On Their Wedding
Juhi said that she really wanted to attend his reception, but couldn't. She asked whether he got her gift. Kapil then revealed that the actress had gifted him a framed photo of himself with Ginni, which he hung on his bedroom wall.
The Ginni Effect!
Juhi also revealed how the wedding has changed Kapil. She said previously when she appeared on the show Kapil used to start shooting at around 11 pm and it went on till 3 am in the night. But this time, she was asked to hurry up as Kapil was already on sets. She asked it is just 7 pm, for which the crew members said Kapil needs to be home by 10 pm. This left everyone in splits. Juhi even called it 'The Ginni Effect'.
Kapil told Juhi that she shouldn't have revealed it as he was planning to leave two hours late, but now, he has to leave on time!
Rajkummar Rao Says Modi Ji Was Upset With Kapil!
Apparently, Rajkummar Rao joined ELKDTAL team later as he was meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with other actors. On his arrival, Kapil asked about his meeting with the PM. Rajkummar Rao jokingly said that they had a chat about Kapil and revealed that Modi ji was upset with him (referring to his tweet).
Kapil Apologises To PM
If you recall, Kapil had sent an angry message about bribery to Narendra Modi in 2016. He had written, "I am paying 15 cr income tax from last 5 year n still i have to pay 5 lacs bribe to BMC office for making my office @narendramodi." - (sic)
Kapil was embarrassed and apologised to Narendra Modi for his behaviour. He then asked the actors to change the topic!
Kapil & Ginni Celebrate Republic Day With Kids
On the other hand, the newly-weds Kapil and Ginni celebrated celebrated Republic Day with kids. Kapil shared a video and wrote, "Celebrating Republic Day with the lovely kids of @thebadhanischoolofficial Thank you @rupamkaurgrewal didi and @parbeergrewal paji for the beautiful time... JAI HIND🇮🇳." - (sic)
