Kapil wrote in Hindi and said, "Thank you, honourable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for bringing back India's priceless treasures to its country from Australia. Jai Bharat. Har Har Mahadev."

Meanwhile, ANI's tweet read: "#WATCH | PM Modi inspects the 29 antiquities which have been repatriated to India by Australia. The antiquities range in 6 broad categories as per themes – Shiva and his disciples, Worshipping Shakti, Lord Vishnu and his forms, Jain tradition, portraits and decorative objects." Take a look!

As soon as Kapil dropped the post, the comedian’s message received mixed reactions for netizens as a few of them lauded him while another one called it a "paid tweet."

One more user wrote, "Aaja bhai tu bhi aaja, Ye whi hai jisne #TheKashmirFiles ke promotion ke liye mana kr diya tha , ab nautanki kr rha hai 👆 PS: Sab yaad rkha jayega, ab Hum hi Dekhenge (Come brother, You are the one who refused to promote #TheKashmirFiles and now you are putting up a drama. PS: Everything will be remembered and now we will see)”

It must be noted that Kapil Sharma was recently embroiled in a controversy after The Kashmir Files' director Vivek Agnihotri claimed that Kapil refused to promote their film on The Kapil Sharma Show because they did not have a commercial star cast. However, Kapil has denied these allegations and he also uploaded a clip of Anupam Kher's interview where the veteran actor said that Kapil had approached him but he refused since the movie is about a serious topic and his show wasn't the right platform

On the professional front, besides hosting The Kapil Sharma Show, Kapil is also busy shooting in Odisha for his upcoming film with Nandita Das. He is making most of his free time and was seen visiting all the popular hotspots in and around Bhubaneswar including the Jagannatha Temple in Puri and the Konark Sun Temple, which is 35 kilometres from Puri. The comedian took to his social media handle to share a picture from his visit on Twitter. He captioned a picture, “It was a wonder experience visiting #Konark #suntemple beautiful #odisha.” Kapil also shared a video and thanked his fans for their love. Take a look!
