Popular
comedian
Raju
Srivastava,
who
was
seen
two
weeks
ago
in
India's
Laughter
Champion,
reportedly
suffered
a
heart
attack
while
working
out
at
his
gym
in
New
Delhi
this
morning
(August
10).
His
team
confirmed
the
same
to
a
news
portal
and
said
that
he
is
doing
fine.
His
team
was
quoted
by
a
news
portal
as
saying,
"Raju
sir
suffered
a
mild
heart
attack
while
working
out.
He
is
admitted
to
AIIMS,
but
he
is
doing
fine.
He
is
conscious."
According
to
reports,
the
comedian
fell
unconscious
when
he
was
working
out
on
a
treadmill
at
a
gym.
As
per
India
TV
report,
Raju
felt
severe
chest
pain
and
then
collapsed.
He
was
rushed
to
All
India
Institute
of
Medical
Sciences
(AIIMS),
New
Delhi
by
his
trainer
and
was
given
CPR
twice
to
resuscitate
his
heart.
Although
he
is
recovering
well,
he
will
apparently
be
kept
under
observation
for
few
days
before
getting
discharged
from
the
hospital.
Raju's
daughter
Antara
confirmed
the
news
and
told
ETimes
TV,
"Yes,
he
is
admitted
to
AIIMS,
but
I
can't
confirm
that
he
suffered
a
mild
heart
attack
as
I
don't
have
that
information.
All
I
know
is
that
he
was
feeling
unwell,
uneasy
and
was
rushed
to
AIIMS.
He
is
under
doctor's
supervision
and
observation
and
he
is
doing
fine.
We
are
in
Mumbai,
my
mom
is
leaving
for
Delhi
and
she
should
be
there
in
a
couple
of
hours.
Our
relatives
and
other
friends
are
there
with
dad
in
the
hospital.
I
will
also
be
travelling
to
Delhi
tonight
with
my
brother
and
we
have
already
booked
our
tickets."
Comedian
Sunil
Pal
too
confirmed
the
same
and
gave
an
update
on
Raju's
health
and
revealed
that
the
stand-up
comedian
is
out
of
danger
and
is
doing
good.
Sharing
the
video,
Sunil
wrote,
"Get
well
soon
#RajuShrivastav
bhai
ji.
🙏स्वस्थ
रहे
मै
यही
कामना
करता
हूँ
❤️."
A
few
hours
before
he
suffered
a
heart
attack,
he
had
shared
a
video,
in
which
he
gave
a
hilarious
twist
to
the
information
being
spread
on
COVID-19
via
caller
tune
on
the
phones.
His
fans
wished
him
speedy
recovery,
by
commenting
on
his
latest
video.
Apart
from
doing
stand-up
comedy,
he
tried
his
hands
in
films
as
well.
He
has
worked
in
films
like
Bombay
to
Goa
and
Aamdani
Atthanni
Kharcha
Rupaiya.
