Sonam Kapoor And Anand Ahuja Share First Pic Of Their Baby, Couple Name Their Son Vayu
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja shared the first picture of their baby boy on social media on Tuesday. The couple, who welcomed their son last month, has named him Vayu. Sonam shared the picture and wrote in her caption: "In the spirit of the force that has breathed new meaning into our lives...In the spirit of Hanuman and Bheem who embody immense courage and strength... In the spirit of all that is sacred, life-giving and eternally ours, we seek blessings for our son, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja."

In the aforementioned picture, Sonam, Anand and their baby are seen dressed in matching yellow outfits. The actress even explained the meaning of the baby's name in her post by writing, "In Hindu scriptures, Vayu is one of the aanch tatvas. He is the deity of breath, the spiritual father of Hanuman, Bheem and Madhav and He is the incredibly powerful lord of wind. Praana is Vayu, a guiding force of life and intelligence in the universe. All the deity's of Praana, Indra, Shiva and Kali relate to Vayu. He can breathe life into beings as easily as he can destroy evil. Vayu is said to be heroic, brave and mesmerisingly beautiful. Meanwhile, the Saawariya star also took to her IG stories to share the picture of the cake, which was brought to celebrate her son turning one month old. Vayu’s caked had a Boss Baby theme with '30 days of love' and 'happy one month' written on it.
It must be noted that Sonam and Anand embraced parenthood for the first time on August 20, 2022. The couple had announced the news of their baby's arrival through a heartfelt Instagram post. The duo, who dated for a couple of years, tied the knot in May 2018 in Mumbai. They had organised a star-studded wedding and reception for their friends and family.
On the professional front, Sonam was last seen on the big screen in The Zoya Factor alongside Dulquer Salmaan in 2019. She will next be seen in Blind which also stars Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak and Lillete Dubey in pivotal roles. The actress's upcoming film is a remake of the 2011 Korean movie of the same name.
