Television actor Aamir Ali has finally addressed dating rumours with actress Shamita Shetty. The actor, who has been in showbiz for over two decades, opened up about how he has learned not to pay heed to the constant public discussion about his personal life. Speaking to a new portal on Wednesday, Aamir Ali said he doesn't want to clarify everything that goes on in his private life.
For the unversed, a video of Shamita and Aamir recently went viral, in which Aamir was seen escorting the actress to her car after his birthday party. The video showed Aamir giving her a hug and a sweet kiss. Following that, rumours about them dating spread like wildfire.

Talking about the same, Aamir Ali told Hindustan Times, "I don't care about it anymore. It (speculation around his personal life) is a part and parcel of the job. So, I don't care about what is being written, jab koi kuch likhta hai ya bolta hai mere baare mein, be it negative or positive. It is fine by me."
Ali further continued saying, "I don't want to be like ab usne aise kya bola aur kyun bola. Jisko jo bolna hai woh bole. I don't get affected by it now. I have crossed that stage of getting affected". He added that if someone has said or written something about the actor, he understands that it is part of their job. Earlier, the actor took to Twitter to deny rumours that he was dating Shamita Shetty.
He then admitted that he rarely reacts to rumours. "I don't do it much. Even if I do, I just do it with some masti about it. I'm not really serious about anything. Sometimes it's true, but sometimes it's absolutely nonsense, what comes out. But why do we have to go and clarify, otherwise aap personal life ke baare mein clarification dete hi reh jaoge, so instead, I enjoy," the actor said.
Amir Ali was previously married to Sanjeeda Sheikh and has a daughter. Speaking of work, the actor was recently seen in Hansal Mehta's Faraaz.
SHAMITA SHETTY REACTION ON DATING AAMIR ALI
On the other hand, Shamita Shetty too had slammed people for assuming that she is dating Aamir Ali. On an Instagram post, she wrote, "It was so stupid. That is all I can say about it. There are few times when I really come out, and say something. But this time, it wasn't just about me. There was somebody else also involved. It is stupid to give a name to friendship because it is in your mind".
