16
contestant
Abdu
Rozik
issued
a
statement
on
Saturday
(May
13)
to
squash
the
rumours
that
suggested
the
Mumbai
Police
filed
a
complaint
against
him
after
a
video
went
viral
on
the
internet.
The
19-year-old
singer
refuted
the
rumours
about
the
FIR
in
an
exclusive
interaction
with
Filmibeat.
The
controversy
started
when
a
video
of
him
holding
a
loaded
gun
surfaced
on
the
internet.
It
was
heavily
circulated
on
social
media
platforms
and
reports
said
that
the
Mumbai
Police
filed
an
FIR
against
Abdu
Rozik.
The
Bigg
Boss
16
star,
who
made
waves
during
his
stint
in
Salman
Khan's
reality
show
in
an
exclusive
interaction
with
Filmibeat,
denied
the
accusations.
He
told
us,
"It's
not
true
bro."
Sharing
the
statement
with
us,
Abdu
Rozik
maintained
that
the
video
was
taken
only
to
show
an
'unjust
situation'
to
create
a
media
frenzy.
He
added
that
he
is
willing
to
cooperate
with
the
police
officials
if
required,
stating
that
not
FIR
has
been
lodged
against
him.
"There
is
a
reason
that
such
a
fast
video
was
taken
only
to
show
an
undignified
and
unjust
situation
to
create
a
media
frenzy
for
his
new
channel.
There
is
no
FIR
or
police
complaint
against
me.
I
am
willing
to
cooperate
with
any
authority
at
any
time
to
clarify
this
matter
if
required,
but
can
clarify
that
I
have
already
approached
the
police
myself
voluntarily
to
ensure
they
know
I
am
fully
cooperative
and
willing
to
assist
with
any
evidence
or
witness
statements
if
needed
to
out
the
truth," Abdu
Rozik
said
in
his
statement.
