Abhishek once again remained in the headlines after Elvish Yadav shared a vlog on YouTuber and claimed that someone was trying to tarnish his image using PR machinery. He stated a 'negative PR' was being run against him to hamper his image. His allegations set several tongues wagging as the netizens believed that he was hinting at Abhishek Malhan.

Without mentioning names, the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner talked about a 'special brother', who could have run a negative PR campaign so that his goodwill can be ruined. In his vlog, he spoke about the same and said that social media is flooded with negative posts and memes about him.

"Ye PR team jiski bhi hai, negative memes, tweets se bhar rakhi hai. Ye ekdum se kaha agaye? Phele toh nahi the. Jinko pata nahi hai, ye hai negative PR. Paise deke kisi ki image kharab karna. Memes se, news channel ke through. Hamara koi khaas bhai tha, hum to samajhte hai bhai," Elvish said in his video.

Abhishek Malhan, who attended the YouTube Fanfest India 2023 event in Mumbai, responded to the fan, who asked him if he spent any amount on 'negative PR'. He said that he would not even spend Rs 25 on such things, indicating that Rs 25 lakh is a way too big amount to be spent on such petty things. "Rs 25 na kharchu bhai main kisi pe," his comment read.
