While fans waited for Abhishek and Jiya's reunion at the Bigg Boss OTT 2 party, none of them attended it. "Main abhi shoot se aayi hu. Main busy thi yaar," the Pishachini actress told Elvish, revealing the reason why she missed the reunion party.

The Marathi Mugli was busy with the shoot of her project and hence, she skipped the bash. She met Elvish Yadav and the BB OTT 2 winner playfully teased her for missing the party. After their reunion, a video went viral and fans claimed that Elvish and Jiya were taking a dig at Abhishek Malhan by using the words 'deserving winner'.

Jiya had to issue a statement to put an end to the speculations about insulting Abhishek, with whom she recently worked.

"Crazy how some people are still fighting on the internet and spreading hate! I tend to laugh on things easily that's in my nature anyway since "some" of you needed to hear it from me - that was a taunt for me too since I've said it many times publicly that deserved to win. As if this would make any difference go ahead say what you want to! Rest it's not my fight, not my words! But still want to spread hate? Go ahead waste your energy on stupid things. Love you too," Jiya Shankar said in her atatement.
