Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin made the headlines recently wherein the family drama witnessed a 20 year leap. While Ayesha Singh, Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma played the lead role initially, post leap the show has been taken over by Sumit Singh, Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma.

Clearly, the leap and the new cast has left everyone brimming with an opinion. While many people are missing the original cast, the audience has also been seen pinning hopes on the new cast. Amid this, Aishwarya Sharma, who played the role of Pakhi in the show, was quizzed about the new promo, post leap plot and the new cast.

This happened during her recent interaction with Telly Chakkar wherein she made a shocking statement about Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin post leap promo. When quizzed about the promo and the new cast of the show, Aishwarya stated, "I liked the promo of the show and I felt it was the same story with nothing new in that".

She was further asked if the new cast of the show will be able to meet the benchmark set by the original cast and said if they will be able to do justice to the show. To this, Aishwarya asserted, "It all depends on destiny, whatever happens, will happen if it has to work it will, or else it wouldn't, and never keep any acceptations".

For the uninitiated, Neil and Ayesha had recently announced their exit Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin owing to the leap. In fact, Neil also shared Aishwarya's emotional reaction to his exit. He said, "Ek journey hai kabhi na kabhi shuru hui thi to khatam bhi honi hai. so we are very practical in that sense. Shuruvaat hui thi, wo pehle ja chuki hai. use pta tha ki kabhi na kabhi to hona hi tha. It's okay. ek nahi journey shuru karenge ab. she is very positive about it"
