‘I Love Him Alot…’: Akanksha Puri Reacts To Rumours Of Marriage With Mika Singh
Akanksha Puri who participated in Mika Singh’s swayamvar show has opened up on the rumours of her wedding bells.
New Delhi: Akanksha Puri and Mika Singh have always been in the headlines, owing to their ever-evolving relationship status. Akanksha was earlier in a relationship with Bigg Boss 13 contestant Paras Chhabra. But the duo called it off owing to Paras' closeness with his co-contestant, Mahira Sharma. Akanksha then entered Mika Singh's reality show, "Mika Di Vohti' as a wild contestant and eventually won it.
The show was based on the swayamvar format, where Mika was said to be looking for an ideal match. Since then, fans are curious about Mika and Akanksha's next step into the relationship. Mika and Akanksha have known each other for over a decade now.
Akanksha Puri's Relationship With Mika Singh
During an event, the Vignaharta Ganesh actress was asked about her reaction as fans recognise her as Mika Singh's girlfriend, and also about the evolution of their relationship since the reality show, Mika Di Vohti. To this, the actress responded to Instant Bollywood, "Aage badhne se jyada mujhe lagta hai jab rishta itna gehra ho, toh wo gehra hi rehta hai chahe kitna waqt badal jaye. Na hi humara rishta kabhi bhi badla. I love him a lot and he loves me, as a friend, as his best friend. Humara jo ye bond hai kabhi toota nahi."
Akanksha Addresses Wedding Rumours With Mika Singh
Akanksha was asked about her wedding plans with the singer, to which she said, "Iske bare mein I think mujhe kuch kehna nahi chahiye. Karenge to pata lag jayega. But I think, is school of marriage ko jyada believe Mika ji nahi karte. Mujhe nahi pata aage ka kya hai but dosti jo hai wo humesha rahegi aur rishte agar kuch better chijo mein badle to dono ke liye achha hota hai and wish us all the best."
Earlier, talking about her relationship with Mika, the actress had told TOI that, "We are protective of each other and respect each other. We both individually have had bitter experiences in life, so we are going slow. We don't hold hands or indulge in any PDA because we know where we stand. Also, currently, we are busy working; in fact, we are both workaholics and understand each other's professional commitments."
