‘All Of Her Allegations Are Baseless & Pre-Planned': Adil Khan's Lawyer Hits Back At Rakhi Sawant

Rakhi Sawant has been making headlines for her marital dispute with her husband, Adil Khan Durrani. After accusing Adil of extramarital affairs, stealing her money and jewelry, and engaging in domestic violence, the actress added that he had shot and sold nude videos of her. Besides all this, Rakhi has also accused Adil Khan of unnatural intercourse and threatened to keep silent. For the uninitiated, Adil was sent to police remand last week.

ADIL KHAN DURRANI'S LAWYER REFUTES CLAIMS

Declaring Rakhi Sawant's charges to be untrue, Adil Khan's lawyer has called all her charges baseless. He further said that she had earlier received money from her first husband, Ritesh, and now is doing the same from Adil.

Speaking exclusively to TOI, Adil's lawyer, Neeraj Gupta, said, "All this is pre-planned. The allegations are all baseless. Do you feel Rakhi Sawant is so weak that any guy can beat her and she will take it all without a word? Adil comes from a good family background and does not need to take money from her or shoot her videos. Rakhi had got money from her earlier husband, Ritesh, when they separated, and now she is doing this with Adil. I have submitted all proofs in court, including his bank statements."

RAKHI AND ADIL'S MARRIAGE

Meanwhile, Rakhi has said that she will opt for a divorce as Adil has cheated on her. Soon after the demise of her mother, Jaya Bheda, the Bigg Boss veteran accused Adil of mistreating her and filed a complaint with the Oshiwara police on charges of assaulting her, abusing her, taking money and jewellery without her knowledge, and dowry harassment. On the other hand, a Iranian student who was in a relationship with Adil has accused him of raping, threatening, and blackmailing her. She has filed an FIR in Mysore against Adil. Rakhi and Adil got married last year in July in an intimate court marriage and kept it a secret until pictures from their wedding went viral on social media.
