TV Actor Father Death: Anas Rashid, one of the most loved actors on the small screen, has announced the tragic passing of his father, Muhammad Rashid. The news was shared by Anas on his social media account, where he also expressed his grief and mourned the loss of his father. Since then, the outpouring of condolences for Anas and his family has been immense.
ANAS RASHID BIDS GOODBYE TO HIS FATHER
Anas shared a few photographs of his father on his Instagram account and mourned his sad demise. Bidding goodbye to his 'abbu' with an emotional note, the actor wrote, "The sudden demise of my father Muhammad Rashid (5th April 2023) is a big loss for the entire Rashid family and I hereby, seek your prayers and blessings... We belong to Allah, and to him we return."

ANAS RASHID'S TV JOURNEY
For the unversed, Anas Rashid made his TV debut with Ekta Kapoor's hit Star Plus show Kahiin Toh Hoga in 2006. After playing another pivotal role in Sanjeeda Sheikh's Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa, he bagged his first lead role in Star Plus' Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan.
He essayed the lead role of adult Prithviraj Chauhan and replaced Rajat Tokas. After Colors TV's Aise Karo Naa Vidaa, Anas played Sooraj Raathi opposite Deepika Singh in the hit Star Plus show Diya Aur Baati Hum. The show got a great response from fans and was a huge hit on the TRP charts. In 2017, Anas was last seen in a special appearance in Tu Sooraj, Main Saanjh Piyaji, the sequel to Diya Aur Baati Hum and is away from the small screen since then.
ANAS RASHID'S WEDDING AND FATHERHOOD
In 2017, the actor got married to Heena Iqbal in a traditional Musilm ceremony at his hometown Malerkotla, Punjab. They are parents to two kids. Anas is currently away from TV to spend time with his family.
