While several contestants engaged in fights, the Udaariyaan actor maintained his calm and never used derogatory words against the BB 16 housemates. Fans expressed their displeasure when Ankit was eliminated from Salman Khan's reality show.

Fans slammed the channel and the production house for evicting him, calling his elimination 'unfair'.

On Tuesday (April 11), Ankit shared a cryptic post that captured the attention of the netizens. He tweeted, "Growing up I realise the value of privacy, of cultivating your circle and only letting certain people in. You can be open, honest and real while understanding not everyone deserves a seat at the table of your life."

The Udaariyaan star mentioned that he realised the value of 'privacy and cultivating inner circle' as he shared the tweet on the micro-blogging site.

Fans were quick enough to flood his tweet with their own messages. One user tweeted, "Konse mandir me mannat maangni padegi apke circle me in hone k liye? (sic)" while another said, "Privacy toh theek hai par aapki bestie ne new car li hai, jaldi se ek congratulatory post daalo cutie." As Priyanka Choudhary bought a new car, fans asked Ankit if he extended his warm wishes to her or not.
