Ankit Gupta's Junooniyatt Or Fahmaan Khan DharamPatnii, Which Show Will Chaand Jalne Laga REPLACE?

Colors channel launched a series of shows in 2023 including Junooniyatt, Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, Neerja and Shiv Shakti-Tap Tyaag Tandav. While a few performed well, others faced the axe due to low ratings. Ankit Gupta starrer Junooniyatt, which started on a slow note, has picked up pace in recent weeks.

The change in time slot seems to have worked well for Junooniyatt as the drama has witnessed a rise in numbers. The show co-starring Neha Rana and Gautam Singh Vig has been constant in terms of TRPs. It has performed better than Kaun Banega Crorepati 15, which was launched last month on Sony Entertainment Television.

Speculations were rife that Ankit Gupta starrer Junooniyatt and Fahmaan Khan's DharamPatnii would go off air to make way for a new show. Filmibeat was the first portal to squash the rumours, confirming that the romantic drama is saved from facing the axe.

A source earlier exclusively told Filmibeat, "No, Junooniyatt is not ending anytime soon. The show has received a new lease of life after the change in time slot. It is doing good. The channel has not made a decision to axe the romantic drama. Agnisakshi and DharamPatnii will bid adieu to the viewers after Saavi Ki Savaari. Junooniyatt is saved and the makers have planned new twists and turns to entice the audience."

CHAND JALNE LAGA TIME SLOT, LAUNCH DATE

TV buffs have not been able to control their excitement ever since it was confirmed that Colors TV is introducing a new show in its weekday line-up. Visha Aditya Singh, who was last seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, is making a comeback to the fiction space with an upcoming show titled Chand Jalne Laga.

"Siddharth Kumar Tewary, who is riding high on the success of Shiv Shakti, is back with a new romantic drama. It will be different than his previous shows as there is a major twist that will entice the viewers," a source informed.

A reliable source has now shared another exciting piece of information with us. "Junooniyatt is not going anywhere. Chand Jalne Laga will be the next big launch on Colors channel along with Bigg Boss 17. It is expected to launch before Salman Khan's reality show. Have heard that Agnisakshi will be pulled off the plug while Chand Jalne Laga will replace it at 9:30pm slot. There are also chances that Junooniyatt might witness another time slot change as the channel wants to air the show at the best slot possible," the khabri quipped.
