While an official announcement is yet to be made in this regard, a recent update claims that Dunki will also mark Ankit Gupta's Bollywood debut.

According to a report published in Bollywood Life, Ankit Gupta has been approached for a small role in Dunki and will be seen romancing Priyanka in the movie. Yes! PriyAnkit will reportedly be seen as a couple in the movie. The media reports suggested that Dunki is based on the plight of the Punjabi's survival in Canada. Apart from Shah Rukh, this Rajkumar Hirani directorial will also star Taapsee Pannu in the lead and will mark the Saand Ki Aankh actress' first collaboration with King Khan.

Priyanka Choudhary Praises Ankit Gupta's Look In Junooniyatt

Meanwhile, Priyanka is currently rooting for Ankit Gupta's recently launched show Junooniyatt. Also starring Gautam Vig and Neha Rana in the lead, Junooniyatt is a musical drama. And while the show has opened to decent reviews, Priyanka has been in awe of Ankit's look in the show as Jahaan. Talking about it, she said, "I am loving it, totally loving it. The vibe, the look, everything I guess jo pura musical theme par based lag raha hai. Thoda different bhi lag raha hai, kuch alag aa raha hai jo ki kaafi time baad mujhe dekhne ko mil raha hai. Teeno ke teeno they are doing great. They are amazing and Ankit to acha lag raha hai, hot lag raha hai".
