However, Ankit has now finally spilled the beans about his plans to share the screens with his rumoured girlfriend Priyanka Choudhary. This happened during his recent interview with Screen Box and he emphasised that they don't want to work together just for the heck of it.

Ankit asserted, "We would love to work together but we don't want to do anything just for the heck of it. We both want to do something wherein we both can explore ourselves as an actor. We have a canvas to show our graph and range. So maybe we are waiting for that".

Meanwhile, talking about the work front, Ankit Gupta is currently seen playing the lead role in Junooniyatt wherein he plays the role of Jahaan who is a musician. Apart from him, the show also features Gautam Vig and Neha Rana in the lead.

On the other hand, Priyanka Choudhary has been making headlines as there are reports about her being approached to play the lead role in Naagin 7. Yes! The media reports suggest that Priyanka will be replacing Tejasswi Prakash as the new naagin in Ekta Kapoor's franchise. While the reports also claimed that Priyanka has begun shooting for Naagin 7, a source cleared the air.

Talking to Filmibeat, the source stated, "Naagin 7 is yet to go on floors and here we have rumours about Priyanka Chahar Choudhary starting the shoot and reaching the set. All rumours are rubbish".
