In a recent interview, Ankit Gupta opened up about his love for reality shows after the success of Bigg Boss 16 and revealed that he would love to be a part of more non-fiction shows in the future. Not just that, he even hinted at turning down a big-ticket reality show after Salman Khan's controversial reality show due to Junooniyatt.

Well, we're talking about Rohit Shetty's Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, which premiered on TV last night (July 15) on Colors TV amid huge buzz and expectations. Yes, you read that right!

During the rapid-fire round in a conversation with ScreenBox, the talented TV star was asked to choose one between daily soaps or reality show. In reply, Ankit said, "Pehle I could've said daily soaps. But, after Bigg Boss, I think everything has an upside or downside. So, I'm open to do reality shows now. I think, both. Whatever pays me great."

ANKIT GUPTA REJECTED KHATRON KE KHILADI 13 FOR JUNOONIYATT

On being asked about his chances of doing Khatron Ke Khiladi, the Udaariyaan star revealed that he couldn't do Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 due to Junooniyatt. He said, "That is one reality show I really wanna do. I could have done agar Junooniyatt nahi hota toh, this year."

Earlier this year, several reports suggested that Ankit Gupta has been approached for Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. Well, we now know the reason. Interestingly, his BFF Priyanka Chahar Choudhary was said to be confirmed for the stunt-based reality show. However, she opted out of the show at the last moment.

Currently, their Bigg Boss 16 co-contestants, Shiv Thakare and Archana Gautam, are seen entertaining fans with their stint in KKK 13.
